ERP systems and SAP

Make the system you already paid for actually fit how you work.

An ERP system is supposed to be the single place your orders, stock, purchasing and finance all meet. In practice most of them fit the business that bought them about eighty per cent of the way, and everybody quietly builds spreadsheets to cover the rest.

Those spreadsheets are where the errors live, and where the time goes.

How we approach it

We have spent decades inside SAP ERP, including the parts most consultancies will not touch: ABAP development, SAP UI5 screens, OData services, S/4HANA migrations and the integration layer that connects SAP to everything else you run. We do the same work on other ERP platforms, and we are the only UK partner for DataXstream’s OMS+ order management software.

The question we start with is never which module to buy. It is which part of the day is being wasted, and whether the system you already own can be made to do it.

What you get

Fewer manual workarounds, an ERP that matches your actual processes, and a straight answer about whether an upgrade or a migration is genuinely worth the disruption.

Questions we get asked

We have SAP. Do we need consultants or developers?
Both, and the difference matters. Consultants configure what SAP already does. Developers change what it does. We are developers, so we get called when configuration has run out of road.
Is our ERP too old to bother with?
Usually not. We have made fifteen-year-old systems considerably more useful for a fraction of what replacing them would have cost. Replacement is sometimes right, but it should be the conclusion, not the opening position.
Can you work alongside our existing supplier?
Yes, and we often do. We are not trying to own your IT estate.

Tell us what is slowing the business down

A 30-minute call with a developer, not a salesperson. You will get a straight view of whether this is worth doing, and we will say so if it is not.
